Come to Struer for a sound-related placement

Are you considering coming to Struer for an internship placement, working with a company case, writing a project thesis etc., relating to sound? Feel free to reach out to hear more about the options in Struer.

Students interning with our members have the option of staying at our common student dormitory at Struer Højskole.

Get connected with other students and interns in Struer

While they reside in Struer for internships and other study-related placements, we would like to offer all higher education students the opportunity to meet and network with fellow students, while also exploring further project and carreer options with our local companies,

The student network is open for Danish and International students alike. Everyone is welcome to join us, regardless of their field of study and the length of their stay in Struer.

The 2025 program will be available from the beginning of 2025.

 

In the fall of 2024, we have hosted the following events in collaboration with our partners:

  • Welcome! A Guided City Tour in Struer – followed by pizza night. Thursday September 5; meet up at Struer Museum, Søndergade 23 at 16:00. 
  • Struer Interns Run to The Beat (email katrine@uddannelsesinitiativet.dk for registration). Saturday September 7, 10:00 - ???: 
  • Conpleks Innovation: Outdoor robots demo. Tuesday September 24, 15:30 – 17:30 (postponed).
  • Network event at Struer Library. Thursday October 10, 16:30 - 18:30
  • Harman-Samsung: Early Concept development. Please note: New date: Wednesday, October 23, 15:30 - 17:30. 
  • Sound Art Lab: Introduction and Listening Event/Artist Talk. Thursday November 7, 16:30 - 21:00
  • Bang & Olufsen: Estate visit/guided tour. Tuesday, November 19 16:00 - 18:30
  • Sound Hub Denmark: Testing - demos and facilities. Followed by Christmas Coziness. Thursday December 5, afternoon.
